username: shannyfish Well, my name is Shannon, and my best Friend (Riley - Renegade Heart) started to call me Shanny. At the time I was using these cute blue smiley fish on AOL, so she just started to call me shannyfish, and it stuck. So, mostly when I'm about that's what I go by! On most archives now and even LJ, I use this as my username.
Who I am
I'm 25, and am one of ten children (no, we're not Mormon or Catholic!). I have seven brothers and two sisters, and we range from 26 to 2 years old. Yeah...it's insane, but it can also be great help with writing! I'm currently attending California State University, Long Beach for my English Education BA with a Creative Writing Concentration. I'm also going for my single subject teaching credential. I love to write, and tend to write fanfic (especially CSI: Miami lately!) and make music vids when I'm bored! I like to watch movies and go to Disneyland in my spare time (WOOO for annual passes!!!)

On most archives now I use the pen name: shannyfish, but on Lonely Road I'm listed as Shannon and on fanfiction.net it's my super old pen name: innocent choir girl. Fanfiction.net has approved my pen name change, so instead of innocent choir girl, I am shannyfish...now they all pretty much match!

Life Goes On (complete - series trailer on youtube) Third in the "American Family" Series. While planning the wedding, Suzie returns and trouble ensues because of it…not only over Madison, but over the life that Horatio wants to give her and what he fully intends on following through with.
Confessions (complete) Horatio and Calleigh both end up shot and alone. They confess what they know they should have done long ago...
Officer Down (complete) This is a fanfic based on an episode that was supposed to be shot in season two where Calleigh is shot and Horatio has to face how much she means to him, but since that never ended up being taped, I'll make my own version.
Bad Day (complete) After a lab accident, Calleigh relies on help from her father, but could it be the last thing she does?
Sex, Drugs, & Rock n Roll (complete - trailer on youtube) Jake Berkeley returns and wants to use Calleigh in one of his operations, but when Calleigh refuses...Jake forces her to anyways...
With a hurricane coming upon Miami-Dade county and residents not all evacuating even though it's mandatory, Horatio and Calleigh help to evacuate a section. While evacuating, Calleigh goes off to find a missing child...with the hurricane so close Horatio is forced to leave her behind or rest the families he has in his care. Once he passes them off, he's not allowed to try to go back for her...
Vendetta (complete) Clavo Cruz escapes from prison and goes after those Horatio holds dear in order to really get back at him. Clavo sees that there's more between Horatio and one of his co-workers, and takes Calleigh... (takes place before current season - I swear this was thought up before "Man Down")
Supervisor Scott O'Shay keeps his promise to Horatio, and starts to take funding away from the Miami-Dade Crime Lab, but with the cut in the media and the coverage telling residents what they're going to be losing out on, O'Shay uses his power to attack Horatio in another way other than funding. He cuts deeper. Spoilers for S5E19 “Bloodline”.
Stalked (complete) Taken from the previews for “Born to Kill”. Since the episode was so disappointing given the misleading promo. Calleigh is targeted by a killer and Horatio and the others must race to save her.
Happiness is... (complete) Horatio has a heart to heart with Calleigh about what’s been going on with her. With her odd behavior, everyone is wondering what happened to the happy Calleigh they all knew and loved? And how can they help get her back? (Reply to Robin’s Challenge)
Not All Bad (complete) A challenge that I sort of issued to myself. CBS blames "Born to Kill"'s suck factor to the fact that they had no budget. So, I figure that an episode done solely in one room couldn't cost that much. This story involves the whole team, and only one room. But what will they face in this room?
Rescue Me (complete) Based on the original Season 5 Finale where Horatio was supposed to be on a plane with a convict. When the plane crashes in the Everglades, there are memories of an old case ("Golden Parachute") along with a need to get to the plane and Horatio. Will Calleigh and the team be able to make it out to him in time and catch the convict?
Smile (complete) An AU type of story, with Tim Speedle living through "Lost Son". How would the team we know be different? How would their lives be different from how it is up until the current season.
