The Police Fold is far more intricate then one is lead to believe to start with.
Grabbing a women's purse would not be considered Brutality. There was no physical damage to the women. Harrasment it would all depend on how they spin the reasoning behind taking the purse in the first place.
Atleast that is my understanding.
If a cop suspects a women to have conceled weapon in his Dolce and Gabana purse. " Asks to search said purse" Then Sinorita decides she doesn't want him looting through her bag. They use force to get the purse in face of the women's protest.
If someone is protesting LEO's searching thier purse it usually indicates he's going to find more then a tampax for those sometimes emergencies in there.
But yeah thats what I'm thinking.
But in general CSI: Miami is glamourized in comparison to the other two shows and a comic book stood up against the real world of Crime Science Investigation.
So the things that they do can be done that way since it's tv.
I like that Cardoza isn't afraid to use unorthodox methods to get the answers. It's almost very Jethro Gibbs.
