Episode Recap:
Sarah Jennings, and 18 year old goes missing on her last night in Miami. She starts off in a club getting wasted with her friend, and the next morning she doesnt make the register for going home, her friend finds her car with no Sarah so reports it. there is a transfer of blood int he car, and Horatio notices that there is a surveilance camera in the rear view mirror, a lad is seen in the car with her on the footage and they talk to him, the blood is his as she elbowed him in the nose when she saw someone spyong on them, it was her step dad.Horatio confronts the car hire guy about the camera. he denies everything. then someone with sarah's description is seen dumping a bag near the beach, everyone believes that she is still alive. when they get her bag, there is some white pills and some drink on her bag. the car renter admits to giving her drugs, then horatio notices his receptionist/assistant has the fibres found at the beach on her shoes and it is realised it was her dumping the bag and not sarah. they question the peorson who gave her some shots the previous night and she tells them about a boat they went to for another party where 2 boys (Thomas Woodwar, Jeff Marshall) admit to fighting over her. Thomas slept with her and Jeff (who's boat it was) was jealous. sarah is ill and leaves the boat. The team process her friends clothes and find sand on her shoe. sand from the play area, they find sarahs body not far away near some plants. she has beeen re-dressed (sexual assault thinking) and her clothes are damp.
on her buttons calleigh finds a fingerprint of Jeff. Alexx find that she died from asphixyation. they automatically think that Jeffs guilty until they do the sexual assault kit and find that Thomas Slept with her again (not realising it wasnt consensual at the time) so there at a dead end, The damp on her clothes, Calleigh and Eric later found out was from the sprinklers , and when hit with the UV light glows, she also had glowing on her neck so the person who killed her would have it on their clothes and hands, turns out that Thomas killed her, and left her bare so when jeff came apon her he made sure she kept the dignity she had left and redressed her.
The team looked at who had been looking at the surveilance footage and it turns out to be her step dad spying on her.
