The Miami Dragon
Chapter 1
She glanced around nerviously, wondering how much longer she would have to wait wearing these restraints. She knew that someone from the Miami-Dade crime lab was comming to pick her up soon but the exact time was not known. She had just endured a hour flight with a load of gawking passengers. But this was nothing new, she had learned to ignore their peircing gazes and muffled whispers. Now seated in the security room of the Miami International airport she only had a guard to listen to. He was singing along to some golden oldie song watching the security cameras, checking over his sholder fequenty to see if she was still there. During his inattention a man entered the room, he had golden-red hair and the purest blue eyes she had ever seen.
"Excuse me, i'm LT.Horatio Caine from the MDPD crime lab. I'm here to pick up Daku."He inturupeted the guard.
"Ah yes sir....thats her there. I just need you to sign this and she's all yours." He was startled and a bit embarresed. He handed over the forms which were proptly signed and returned.
"Would you follow me to the car?" Horatio asked. His voice was deep and entrancing,she stood there for a minute. Then
His 'car' turned out to be a silver hummer, he opened the back door and waited for me to get in. It was humid and hot outside in the sun but the airconditioned interior was cool and confortable. The drive was short being that it was still early in the morning so there was little traffic. We arrived infront of a modern designed building, it had a curved front and large palms. Apon approching the building he grasped her restraints and led her inside, officers and people parted to eachside of the hallway to the elevator. A blonde-haird woman approched showing no fear unlike the others.

Then Horatio says:"Which was to?" Then Gabby says:"To Michael Simpson.2 priors.One for robbery and possesion of heroine.Both of them we're in 2003." Then Horatio says:"So,what are you doing now?" Then Gabby says:"Natalia said to me that was something strange in the clothes and she gaved it to me,and I process it."
Then Ryan says:"What does Mass Spec says?" Then Gabby says:"Aminobensoic acid,zinc oxide,titanium oxide,dioxidebenzone." Then Horatio says:"That a type of sunblock,right?" Then Gabby says:"Yeah,it is,dad.But it's a type of sunblock that a dermatology gives it to a person that needs it to protect his skin from the sun.You just apply it to the skin before going to the sun."
Then Ryan says:"So we're looking for a person that has problem with the sun." Then Gabby says:"Hey,that person the type of sunblock that it's used has an odor when you apply it to the skin." Then Horatio says:"Well,that's a good help and a good lead." Then Gabby says:"Dad,I need to talk to you for a moment." Then Ryan leaves and then Horatio and Gabby stay in there to talk.
So then Horatio looks at Gabby and then says:"What's up,Gabby?" Then Gabby says:"Early ago I was interrogating Michael Shore and..." Then Horatio says:"And what? You had what?" Then Gabby says:"He grabbed me while I was interrogating him and Ryan was passing by and he got in and talk with Michael."
Then Horatio says:"Okay,that was a good reaction from Ryan.I appreciate it from him."
Then Gabby says:"Dad,I thought that I was gonna lose Morales and Ryan today.I keep remenbering what happend today at that mini-market.I can get it out of my mind." Then Horatio approaches to where Gabby is cause he notices it that she's sweating and that she's breathing really weird.

Natalia and Ryan walked over to Horatio slowly.
"Who is she Horatio?" Natalia asked.
H looked at the two CSI's.
"She is an old friend, which is why you two will work the case, you don't know her personally."
"Is she going to make it, H?" Ryan asked.
Eric walked over to Horatio and the others, in time to hear the question.
"I don't know yet," H replied calmly, putting his glasses on.
"Do we know where her kids are?" Eric asked.
"Not yet," Horatio began walking away, "But we will."

When they've soaked a bit, usually only half an hour works, then you can rinse them to get rid of the salt. Better yet, provided the milk isn't too sodium laden for you, soak them in low fat milk. The protiens in the milk will tenderize the fillet and make them juicier, too.
I'm sorry to hear about your heart and cholesterol, too, Sun. Hubby's got the same issues, but is refusing to do anything about them. I keep telling him he's gonna make me a young widow; all he does is harumph and then stomp out to his shop.
His chol was almost 500 the last time he checked it. I've altered our diet somewhat, but probably not enough; sigh...I"ve been blessed in the sodium arena; doc's actually ordered me to include more of it because my b/p's too low! Can't win for losing, I guess.
