May 14 2008, 10:31 AM EDT I think that Horatio and Marisol was very good couple. And Marisol was nice woman, but very young for Horatio. Horatio can be her granddad. :-D 4 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jul 3 2008, 7:50 PM EDT I liked Marisol, but do agree - she might have been a bit too young for him. But, regardless - H is a great guy and all he ever wanted was to make her happy for the rest of the life she had left to live - he didn't care how short that time was. I sometimes think it was better she was shot and died quickly. Knowing how sensitive H is - he probably would have been totally torn apart watching her die slowly over a period of time as her condition deteriorated. Hey, Petra - missed chatting with you - hope all is ok!!! Do you find this valuable? |

Jul 4 2008, 7:53 AM EDT hey gals.....you have to look at what ages they were playing on the show not go by how they look.......Horatio is suppose to be in his late 40's and she in her mid 30's........so as a grandad.......NoWay!! as a dad ........No Way!! but as husband and wife with 12 of 13 yrs age difference......yeah works for me....... she was in remission and they wanted a baby but I knew the first time they met she was doomed to get shot!!....Horatio has made a name for himself that has put a very large target on his back Do you find this valuable? |

Jul 4 2008, 11:13 AM EDT I don't think Marisol was that old - I'll have to double check the years on her head stone but I don't think Mari was in her mid-thirties - I think, and if I did my math right, that she was much younger than that. I don't have so much of an issue of the age gap between H and Mari as I would with Julia - if the rumor mill is true. We don't know how old Elizabeth Berkley's character was supposed to be -but she herself is like 35 - which would have made her like 16 or 17 when she got pregnant - and H would have been like 31 at the time - now THAT I would have issue with - I don't care what kind of stud he was - that's almost statutory rape - and for a law-protecting cop, that would have been out of character for even Horatio. Do you find this valuable? |

I don't blame the writers so much as I blame the casting director. EB is just so WRONG for the part of Julia... so WRONG as a love interest for Horatio. It was Raymond who was the alleged drug user, not H, and short of being on hard drugs, I can't see H coming within a mile of EB's Julia. Just my two cents... ;) Do you find this valuable? |

Jul 6 2008, 12:20 PM EDT But Horatio didn't know he got conned until S6. As far as we have been told, she just disappeared after three months with him. No rhyme or reason given. It was when he found out about Kyle and began investigating did he learn of her con artist ways. When did H say she was a nurse? I don't remember that at all. Which epi was that in? Even my mom doesn't remember her being a nurse and my mom pays good attention to the details! The only reason I can see Horatio having hooked up with her is that he probably was a bit more of a player in his younger days - after all, he's still a guy and really good looking. But EB herself - she doesn't fit the 'typical' H ladies of late - she's body and boobs and no substance. As of late, H likes beautiful women but women with substance - someone who can challenge his intellect as well as .... well, you get the drift... Do you find this valuable? |
