David Filmography - suggestions please
Jul 15 2008, 12:40 PM EDT OK I'm totally annoyed but I can't find the thread where I had folks suggesting some of David's old work to see. I'm about ready to make a dive into old DC filmography. Session Nine sounds interesting now. I've been looking at some titles available on Ebay in my price range (King Of New York, Black Point, and Cold Around The Heart are currently listed). Someone give me your top three flicks of David's to see first... if I can't get on Ebay, I'll order via the local store... Do you find this valuable? |

Jul 15 2008, 5:41 PM EDT It depends on what you like to watch. I loved Cold Around The Heart, that man in tight jeans was just unbelievable. Jade was ok, but really didn't have much of a plot. Session 9 was excellent if you like a twist. Kiss of death was good, it had some action, some blood and some chest shots. You can go on David Caruso's Message Board and they have a write up on each of his movies and you can go from there. You can also go onto David Caruso Online and go under Video's and find little bits of each movie. Do you find this valuable? |

Jul 15 2008, 6:05 PM EDT well, I like most any type of film - good police dramas, science fiction, comedy - almost anything as long as it isn't dumb stupid with no plot or just ridiculous (American Pie type junk). I figured it best to ask the folks here as everyone seems pretty well versed in DC stuff... Do you find this valuable? |

Jul 18 2008, 3:17 PM EDT Well goodluck, let us know what you buy. Vicki - Yes, I loved all of those movies. I haven't seen Hudson Hawk or Mad Dog yet. But I have found that no matter what David has done, they have been absolutely great movies. Although I wasn't that impressed with Jade, the plot not David's acting. There just really wasn't much of a plot. Do you find this valuable? |

Jul 21 2008, 11:13 AM EDT believe it or not - as long as I am patient - I can actually get flicks off Ebay for cheaper - even with shipping. I just won an auction for Kiss of Death - even with shipping it was only $13. I saw there are two versions of Session 9 - an enhanced version - I'm checking for a good dealer to buy from as I want the copy with the extra features and alternate endings. My vid store wanted $26 to order it! YIKES!!! I won't be able to get anything else until I start working or make another sale of my art - I spent my fun money on NYPD Blue S1 and 2! Do you find this valuable? |
