Aug 6 2008, 5:00 PM EDT yeah I read in TV Guide he wants out..he said he'd do stuff if they needed him but will leave after epi 10 of the new season........they may hire a newbie but Cathryn should take over as head of the Lab......... Do you find this valuable? |

Aug 7 2008, 8:38 PM EDT Unfortunately they are looking at hiring a new actor to replace him and it doesn't look like they are going to give Catherine a promotion. I think that is pretty low by bringing in someone new rather than promote within, unless she declined the position and they will write it as that. But you guys are right, it will not be the same without Grissom. He will be behind the scenes instead. Do you find this valuable? |

Aug 14 2008, 1:55 PM EDT That's another big blow .. In about one year's time CSI has lost Sara sidle, Warrick Brown & now Gilbert Grissom .. The ones who were there from the beginning are leaving .. that's not a good sign at all. Do you find this valuable? |

Only difference is that, he wants to take himself off the show. I don't see Lawrence Fishburne replacing Grissom's role, may be she joins as a replacement for the double blow of Warrick & Sara. I think they might bring in a new lead like how it was done with Criminal Minds ... David Rossi replacing Jason Gideon ... Do you find this valuable? |
