Calleigh's car- continuity issues

Hey! I know this is gonna sound anal, but I noticed that Calleigh was driving a BMW...what happened to the Chrysler Crossfire she had in Season 6?! I can't honestly believe that someone working on a cop's salary can afford to switch up cars like that, especially going to something more upscale- and let's face it, BMW is way upscale from Chrysler, especially being imported and all! What's the deal? I think the writers, or whoever is in charge of stuff like this, needs better continuity control! Don't you?

Maui, actually only some are more upscale. You would be amazed at what you can buy a BMW for, I am not sure what series she was driving, but they are comparable to Chrysler in price and I think Chrysler cars are better built. But I do agree. It just doesn't suit Calleigh to drive a BMW. However, I am sure they probably dropped the Chrysler contract. Not sure if they actually have a particular contract or not. Delko was still driving a GM product. So maybe they were just using cars they had available.

"I always thought Chrysler was better- and I've liked most of their cars...It seems like the rental car companies here on Maui must love them, too. I was driving to Lahaina from Kahului (here on Maui) one day and I swear there were 60 Chrysler Sebring convertibles on the road! That's not including the dozens of sedans and PT cruisers we see as well! I never did like BMW. And I know Eric is still driving his Pontiac G6 Sedan, but that's consistent with last season, starting in 7.10 "Deluca Motel". But I really missed Calleigh's Crossfire- it's a really nice car!!! Do you find this valuable? |
